From Poland to... Eye on You: Tokyo Gonzalo
In this series, I will highlight some candidates who competed at the pageant organization I used to work for. Now this one is tricky because I was lucky enough to interact with most of the candidates (not in person because of my personal choice) but I met some around the world and interacted with many of them online too. I am biased and I found all the girls I encountered so special and will always support them in their future endeavours. Because I am doing it for other pageants, I shall do it for this one too. Continuing with a lady who placed in the top 24:
TOKYO GONZALO - GUATEMALA
The super stunning Tokyo Gonzalo represented Guatemala in Poland last year and won the sub title of Miss Influencer, which gave her a top 24 placement. She looked sensational during the swimsuit round and I really think this girl is special and I didn't have to see it on a screen to know it because I was lucky.
In February last year, I got to spend a couple of days with this lovely human and her dad and let me tell you: she is a class act. So ladylike, so kind, so dignified, so sweet and so beautiful. I just hold her in the highest regards and I really would love to see her shine on stage again. She just has to go to a pageant that appreciates woman who are independent, strong, ambitious and sweet. What also makes it even more special, she could choose to represent Spain or Guatemala because her fantastic dad is Spanish and her mom is Guatemalan.
Here are the pageants that I think are good for her:
1. Miss World: Tokyo is so Miss World to me. Her whole demeanour, her aura, her desire to make a positive contribution to society. She is the kind of person that you could introduce to presidents, ambassadors and people who are less privileged and I know she will treat everyone with kindness and dignity.
2. Miss Cosmo: For now, since Miss Universe is in a mess, I also think the Miss Cosmo system will appreciate her and she could really shine there. I know she could slay it.
3. Miss Universe: But only when they get their act together.
I really hope that Tokyo gives it another go. Every pageant is an opportunity for self-improvement and she is also great, so after a 2nd international last June, she will only emerge stronger and better. I really believe in her!
