From Poland to... Eye on You: Paula Ezendu
In this series, I will highlight some candidates who competed at the pageant organization I used to work for. Now this one is tricky because I was lucky enough to interact with most of the candidates (not in person because of my personal choice) but I met some around the world and interacted with many of them online too. I am biased and I found all the girls I encountered so special and will always support them in their future endeavours. Because I am doing it for other pageants, I shall do it for this one too. Continuing with:
PAULA EZENDU - NIGERIA
Bold, fierce, smart and a woman that is not afraid to put in the work and voice her opinions. These are qualities I admire about the stunning Paula Ezendu, who represented Nigeria in Poland last year. I was certain that she would be a standout and, in my opinion, she was. I really loved her "Chat Episode" and I thought her message was powerful. She made an impression on me for sure.
The good thing is that Paula has plenty of options in her "pageant future" and that actually excites me. She could choose to represent the USA or Nigeria, so she literally could really go into any system she chooses and I know she will put in the work. Paula Ezendu is a force to be reckoned with and I know we have not seen the last of her and I can't wait to see her compete again.
My choices for her:
1. Miss Grand International: With her fierce stage presence and bold personality, she will be welcomed and appreciated by the MGI Org. I don't think they are afraid of strong women - in fact, I think they welcome them. So this is why I think Paula would do really well here.
2. Miss USA: I would also like to see Paula go through the USA system. I am a firm believer that the more you compete, the better you get. And Miss USA is still a pretty great way to gain valuable experience. So I would be on board if she decides to go this route.
3. Miss Cosmo: Miss Cosmo is another system that seems to value strong, independent women who can hold their own in any situation. So whether it is USA or Nigeria, I think Paula could definitely make an impact.
You show them, girl!
