From Miss USA 2025 to... Eye on You: Savannah Miles

 In this special series, I would like to honor a few women who competed for the Miss USA 2025 title and while they might not have won, they certainly made the most incredible impression. So, in the spirit of that, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see them again - on a national stage and hopefully on an  international stage too! 


SAVANNAH MILES - MISS GEORGIA USA 2025 

The absolutely stunning reigning Miss Georgia USA, Savannah Miles, was a huge favourite to win the Miss USA 2025 title. I dare say that most of us were shocked when she did not advance to the top 5 but that's how these competitions work. Different day, different panel, different year... who knows. 


That's why I think it would be a huge pity if we don't see her in another system. And I think she would be absolutely perfect for these systems: 

First choice: Miss Cosmo USA 

I think Savannah would be excellent for Miss Cosmo - she could probably win the international and US$100 000 prize with her eyes closed. 

Second choice: Miss Grand USA 

With her on stage prowess, she would slay Miss Grand International and gain even more fans and support from all around the world. 

So, fingers, crossed that we will see the stunning Savannah Miles again in the future!

THE WARMEST: Zozi blew me away because she was the warmest and  most naturally charasmatic reigning Miss Universe I met The Beauty of How a Moment Can Last a Lifetime  I remember the first time I "saw" a pageant. The year was 1987. The channel was TV1 if memory serves me and I only got a brief glimpse of something that caught my attention immediately and left such a huge impression that it still remains with me to this day. It was the first ever (I found out later) live broadcast of Miss South Africa and I could only take in something that spoke to me for probably less than a couple of minutes before the sitter changed the channel. But it STUCK and ended become perhaps the greatest love of my life.  A MOMENT IN TIME: The year was 1987,  I don't remember much  but I  remember a few glimpses of the middle of the show and  I can still see it so clearly. Why Pageants Became the Love of My Life - A Celebration of Strength

 PREVIOUSLY:  Prologue IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME: It is a pity that hindsight is sometimes the  best teacher but pageants represented what I saw in my mother when I was   young and the good things I wanted for her!  Hindsight is such a wonderful thing - beautiful, sweet, inspirational but also usually a bit painful without the extreme sting of the deep, overwhelming hurt that you might have felt at the time. I find people who say that you should just look ahead a bit misguided because, you see, without hindsight there can be no reflection.
