From Miss USA 2025 to... Eye on You: Zoe Ferraro

 In this special series, I would like to honor a few women who competed for the Miss USA 2025 title and while they might not have won, they certainly made the most incredible impression. So, in the spirit of that, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will see them again - on a national stage and hopefully on an  international stage too! 

ZOE FERRARO - MISS OKLAHOMA USA 2025 


The stunning Zoe Ferraro represented Oklahoma at last year's Miss USA Pageant in Reno, Nevada and finished in the top 10. Her smouldering looks made her stand out and she was one of the major favourites to take home the crown. 

Sadly, the selection committee opted not to let her advance to the top 10 but that does not diminish the fact that she has so much left to offer and I would really love to her in another pageants. 

My top picks for her would be: 

1. Miss Grand USA - I think she could really slay at Miss Grand USA and hopefully also at Miss Grand USA. 
2. Miss Cosmo USA - I also think she could potentially do well at Miss Cosmo. She's fire on stage!

I consider myself lucky that I had the privilege and honour of working with her for 12 months and there is so much to learn from this remarkable young woman.  You see, many people think that it's only the bright lights, the shows, the glamour, the excitement that we live for but trust me, there's only so much that you can take of that before it becomes repetitive. THE WARMEST: Zozi blew me away because she was the warmest and  most naturally charasmatic reigning Miss Universe I met The Beauty of How a Moment Can Last a Lifetime  I remember the first time I "saw" a pageant. The year was 1987. The channel was TV1 if memory serves me and I only got a brief glimpse of something that caught my attention immediately and left such a huge impression that it still remains with me to this day. It was the first ever (I found out later) live broadcast of Miss South Africa and I could only take in something that spoke to me for probably less than a couple of minutes before the sitter changed the channel. But it STUCK and ended become perhaps the greatest love of my life.  A MOMENT IN TIME: The year was 1987,  I don't remember much  but I  remember a few glimpses of the middle of the show and  I can still see it so clearly. Why Pageants Became the Love of My Life - A Celebration of Strength

 PREVIOUSLY:  Prologue IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME: It is a pity that hindsight is sometimes the  best teacher but pageants represented what I saw in my mother when I was   young and the good things I wanted for her!  Hindsight is such a wonderful thing - beautiful, sweet, inspirational but also usually a bit painful without the extreme sting of the deep, overwhelming hurt that you might have felt at the time. I find people who say that you should just look ahead a bit misguided because, you see, without hindsight there can be no reflection.
