Big 4 Queen of the Year 2025: 1st Place - Miss World

It takes a very special kind woman, a very special kind of human to be Miss World and this year the crown when to the very worthy head of Opal Suchata from Thailand. She was crowned the 72nd Miss World on May 31 in Hyderabad on May 31. 

With her victory came the honor of being the first woman from Thailand to win this title. Even when she was part of the other pageant and I saw and listened to her responses in the Q and A rounds, I thought she was way too classy for the leadership of that organization and thought she would be excellently suited for Miss World. 
Destiny, fate, luck... call it what you want happened and we have out Miss World 2025.And what a true lady she has been. She has been the epitome of grace and glamour since she has won. But she looks equally comfortable when she carries out her duties as the face and voice of Beauty With A Purpose. 
And as we reach the end of another pageant season, I want to say that Miss World is Miss World and it has proven to be the only stable one. Their winners almost always are the right ones and that blue crown that comes with a great responsibility and it looks perfect and fits perfectly on the head of this of incredibly stunning and sophisticated young woman.

THE WARMEST: Zozi blew me away because she was the warmest and  most naturally charasmatic reigning Miss Universe I met The Beauty of How a Moment Can Last a Lifetime  I remember the first time I "saw" a pageant. The year was 1987. The channel was TV1 if memory serves me and I only got a brief glimpse of something that caught my attention immediately and left such a huge impression that it still remains with me to this day. It was the first ever (I found out later) live broadcast of Miss South Africa and I could only take in something that spoke to me for probably less than a couple of minutes before the sitter changed the channel. Why Pageants Became the Love of My Life - A Celebration of Strength

 PREVIOUSLY:  Prologue IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME: It is a pity that hindsight is sometimes the  best teacher but pageants represented what I saw in my mother when I was   young and the good things I wanted for her!  Hindsight is such a wonderful thing - beautiful, sweet, inspirational but also usually a bit painful without the extreme sting of the deep, overwhelming hurt that you might have felt at the time. I find people who say that you should just look ahead a bit misguided because, you see, without hindsight there can be no reflection.
