Miss Universe Philippines 2026: Eye For Beauty's 10 Tantalising Gown Performances

The candidates vying to compete for the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 title took to the stage in their glamorous gowns to impress the selection committee with the hope of advancing in the competition that will have its final on May 2nd. Here are Eye For Beauty's 10 Tantalising Gown Performances:

10: Muntinlupa: Adela-Mae Marshall

While many candidates appeared to walk in gowns that made it hard to move without apparent effort and used exaggerated gestures during the performance, I appreciated Adela-Mae's because her gown was quite flowy and she delivered a clean and polished performance. Perhaps safe, but it worked for now.

9: Tarlac: Marian Arellano

She looked stunning but some of her facial expressions came across as slightly unnatural and her walk still needs to be a bit more polished but she stood out.

8: Manila - Justine Felizarta

Justine looked elegant but powerful in her hot pink ballgown. It was an overall balanced performance and she managed to make a good impression.

7: Taguig: Bella Ysmael

A very solid performance by Bella Ysmael. It is easy to see why she placed so high in 2020. I am expecting a bit more from her though.

6. IloIlo City: Zetah Espinosa

She looked like a golden goddess but I think she came across slightly stiff and a bit too serious with the exaggerated facial expressions. Gorgeous nonetheless.

5: Cebu Province: Nicole Borromeo

She is a pageant pro and it showed. I think she delivered a strong performance here even though some her expression came across as a bit forced.

4: La Union: Bea Millab-Windorski

OK I did not love this gown and I thought her performance was safe and her walk needs work. BUT this girl is so gorgeous and the Philippines has some of the best pageant trainers in the world.

3: Cebu City: Apriel Smith

I make it no secret that I don't like tricks, so I did not like that she played with her hair during her performance but I do want to mention that Apriel has improved so much and I think she delivered a very strong showing.

2: Baguio: Roxie Bayenes

Roxie impressed me greatly and I think she delivered a very strong performance here. I loved her hair up - it really worked for her.

And Eye For Beauty's Most Tantalising Performance:

Pampange - Allyson Hetland

Allyson is a fantastic competitor and I loved her gown performance - probably because it clean, polished and she wore the gown and the gown did not wear her. I hope she gets one of the titles on offer this year because she would make the Philippines very proud internationally.
