Miss Universe Philippines 2026: Top 6 Boracay Aqua Swimsuit Performances

The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 candidates are in beautiful Boracay and took part in the swimwear show and 12 "Aqua Angels" were selected. From these 12, I am choosing my top 6. So here we go: 

6: Baguio City: Roxy Baeyens 

I like her walk but the exaggerated expressions musts go. She could also work on more energy and incorporate different movements and poses in her walk. 

5: Iloilo City: Zestah Espinosa 


 This girl is gorgeous but I do think that she needs to be more "Miss Universe" and less "Binibini". In other words, she should spice up her walk. 

4: Taguig: Ysabella Roxas Ysmael 



Very solid performance. I would like to see less of her behind though - it's a personal pet peeve. However, I do also sense some Grand in her and I would like her to work on being more Universe. 

3: Cebu City: Apriel Smith 



Ok her needs to be refined and amped up but she looked gorgeous and I always say swimsuit should be won from the shoulders up. 


2: La Union: Bea Milan Windorski 


Bea is still in it to win it. She is gorgeous and she would do extremely well at any of the pageants they have licenses for. I would like to straighten up because I feel that she is pulling her shoulders too far back and it is distracting. 

1: Pampanga: Allyson Hetland 



I am so surprised. This girl is bringing it. She walks like a pageant veteran. I think she is going to do very well. It's really nice to see a "newbie" emerging as one of the top favourites.

Why Pageants Became the Love of My Life - PROLOGUE

THE WARMEST: Zozi blew me away because she was the warmest and  most naturally charasmatic reigning Miss Universe I met The Beauty of How a Moment Can Last a Lifetime  I remember the first time I "saw" a pageant. The year was 1987. The channel was TV1 if memory serves me and I only got a brief glimpse of something that caught my attention immediately and left such a huge impression that it still remains with me to this day. It was the first ever (I found out later) live broadcast of Miss South Africa and I could only take in something that spoke to me for probably less than a couple of minutes before the sitter changed the channel. But it STUCK and ended become perhaps the greatest love of my life.  A MOMENT IN TIME: The year was 1987,  I don't remember much  but I  remember a few glimpses of the middle of the show and  I can still see it so clearly. Why Pageants Became the Love of My Life - A Celebration of Strength

 PREVIOUSLY:  Prologue IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME: It is a pity that hindsight is sometimes the  best teacher but pageants represented what I saw in my mother when I was   young and the good things I wanted for her!  Hindsight is such a wonderful thing - beautiful, sweet, inspirational but also usually a bit painful without the extreme sting of the deep, overwhelming hurt that you might have felt at the time. I find people who say that you should just look ahead a bit misguided because, you see, without hindsight there can be no reflection.
