From MGI to... Eye on You: Flavia Lopez - Peru
The Miss Grand International 2025 Competition had a really high calibre of delegates. There are several stunner that did not win the crown that I think would do well in other competitions. So, it's time to celebrate a few of these women whom I would like to give it another shot. We start with:
Flavia Lopez - Peru
Flavia's Miss Grand International experience was one that required resilience and grit. A leg injury, meant that she could not walk on heels, and even without she was struggling. But this girl did not give up. She SHOWED UP despite the setback Though she did not place (probably because of her injury), she actually won because she captured our hearts.
At 20, she was one of the youngest candidates and that means she still has a lot of time to make her comeback. What I really liked about her, is the fact that she radiated kindness and I really loved that. It's probably not MGI enough but I think she was fantastic. I hope she returns to compete again and here are the systems that I would recommend:
Miss World: I am not sure who holds the license in Peru for Miss World. And to be honest, I only recommend franchises that Jessica Newton owns because she really cares about her candidates. But yes, Flavia has the Miss World look and her kindness and elegance will help her do well in this system.
Miss International: I also think that Flavia's stunning face will be appreciated in Japan. I think she could make the top 5 and even win this title.
Reina Hispanoamericano: This system seems to be growing fast now and I heard it's really an enjoyable experience so I definitely recommend this for Flavia.
I really hope that we get to see this beautiful and determined young woman on stage again.
